Hey guys

just finished the P90 for vol. 2, UV mapping around the scope was a pain, but i got around it, and it looks pretty cool

i know quite a few people wanted a P90 so i decided to get it done now and show you whats in stock

nuff said:

with hands:

hope you guys like, especially those already in mind of buying the next pack

couple more weapons, and then the scifi and medieval, added with some more characters and that will be the important stuff done

these are gonna take a while to animate though, i suppose ill finish the gun animations, then get the hands to "follow along" shouldnt be too hard...

well, enjoy,

-Jon

Mid to Late summer and it will cost £500 because you keep bugging him with the same questions.

err, if i go as i want to, probably in about 1-2 weeks, the price will most likely be £20

those who have bought vol. 1 (or buy with it), will get a 30% discount meaning they get it for £14

depending on how generous buyers think this discount is, i may edit it

Seems like FN P90's are like buses, you wait for ages and then three come along at once!

Pallmanni's (taken over by Blackburn now, I think)

http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=79232&b=24

Mine

http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=79214&b=24

I blame Stargate SG-1

Nice work Jon, it's a tricky design to fathom out, and even trickier to texture, but on the plus side - once you've UV mapped a P90, any other firearm will seem like a doddle!

Cheers

- Graham

You got anisotropic filtering turned on? Makes things look MUCH better.

what the?? i didnt know that was in FPSC, lol, all the time ive wasted on those ingame shots, where do i turn it on?

EDIT:

had a look around, dont think its in FPSC itself, the build config's dont seem to have anything, unless its HSRMode? if so that doesnt do very much...

As always, Jon, your work is amazing.

Oh, and I believe that to get Anisotropic Filtering, you have to actually get your video card to do it, and not FPSC. I'd assume the setting is in your video card's settings.

Not positive, but that's what I've heard before.

Still eagerly awaiting it.

p.s. I've got a sugestion. I've seen several people start AK-47 models, and never finish them. each time people are left disapointed. I think you should make an Ak-47 model for the good of the people

EDIT: this is the banner I can't get to work...

There are at least two FPSC ready AK-47s in the Models and Media section.
They may be non-animated or whatever but they are free.

Hey Jony Boy? Are the models for this set already decided, or are they still open for debate?

If their still open, then i say:

1. A good working shotgun
2. A deagle
3. An M4-Carbine
4. A thompson with a drum, like the one in the new King Kong remake
5. Brass Knucks if your up to it...
6. A spikey baseball bat
7. and finaly an Incan self sacrifice knife

i know it's like a carbine, but i don't like the scope. i tired to get rid of it, but it looked all wierd where the scope was going, becuase instead of being transparent, the blackj decided to actually be physically black, so it had a black blob above it, if you could post it without the scope, then that's one less thing on my suggeation list.

thanks, i havnt done much programming with GM for a while now, mostly been off to do my modelling, programming aint my thing, though i enjoy the program and making GM games

i will still use it, for personal 2D games (once CoreEngine is finished) just for fun, im working on a MMORPG but havnt done much for a long time, though when i was programming it, i managed to get an inventory system up pretty damn quick, i will most likely continue that project, when finished i'll buy a server for my site...

there will be a fully animated traditional AK-47 in the pack, as i mentioned before

Quote: "1. A good working shotgun
2. A deagle
3. An M4-Carbine
4. A thompson with a drum, like the one in the new King Kong remake

"

1) perhaps
2) already made, check the Famas thread
3) was planned, might do a remake that doesnt look cartoony like the stock gun
4) probably not, its centered around modern guns, maybe later
5) i will be making fists for hand to hand, so this is very possible
6) perhaps
7) why would you want to sacrifice yourself in a game? but there will be a knife, the good ol' K-BAR

Quote: "Great stuff Jon!"

cheers buddy!

Quote: "But dose it have hands and textures that compare to these?"

exactly why i plan to remake it, the textures simply do not fit with these, if someone wanted to make a mdoern game, these guns would be great, but the oh so common M4 in modern games, wouldnt look right, the FPSC version looks a tad cartoony

thanks for the comments guys, much to do
