You won't get positive feedback if you have nothing really to show. Stick with one thing and get it built up, then release it.

"One World, One Web, One Program" -Microsoft ad.
"Ein Volk, Ein Reich, Ein Führer"(One People, One Kingdom, One Leader)-Adolf Hitler.

You've got to realize that this is a forum full of geeks and a lot of us are fairly decent (and some excellent) PHP coders. So, you won't get a lot of praise for a simple "Enter your password" scripts. Do some totally unique and awesome things. For example, I posted some PHP code for dynamic watermarking here.

IMO, I think a lot of these scripts sites are usually quite useless. You ought to focus more on PHP/webdesign tutorials.

So tired of people starting huge script/model/tutorial/forums and expecting them to fill up and snowball like the internet doesn't already have a million sites like this that are 1000x more popular and content-full.

I also hate to say it but one of the scripts re: the hit counter is terribly inefficient and inpractical.

Storing data and reading to and from it is all very good but what if it's being accessed by someone else? Wouldn't it be better to use a database whereby you can simply count the number of rows in the table and furthermore hold more detailed information on your users...

Why don't you stop advertising an empty forum on an already established and popular forum.
