Radiohead's new album will be good. I saw them two weeks ago and like their new stuff, very much like their earlier stuff. Get the bootleg copy of Videotape, its amazing.

Why make sense when you could make brownies?

I'm really looking forward to it. Everyone keeps saying it sounds more like a cross between The Bends and OK Computer and they're shifting away from the techno-ish stuff... that means there must be a god I'm just wondering if it'll "save rock" like the media said OK Computer did... I guess we'll see

I wouldn't really call OK Computer "rock"--- it's more like wuss rock. The Bends was more "rock" IMHO. Oh well.

He deserves more then one mention! R.I.P

EDIT- I feel I also should give Rob Halford a mention. A metal legend. I was just listening to some Judas priest and Halford and thought he should be right up there with the best. Even at 50 hes still going, and some of the notes he hits would make most 50 year olds have a stroke.

It was more like 2+2=5 or The Bends, with more piano then synths. (although the highlight of the show was Johnny I think it was, playing guitar while resting the head of his guitar on the keyboard, playing both at the same time. Was really cool)

Jonny Greenwood is my favorite guitarist. Not the best, but totally awesome at coming up with new ways to use instruments. Like that weird oscillator box thingy he invented and used to record Kid A/ Amnesiac... hot

It was too pretty for some people. A lot of people wanted it to be heavier like their earlier stuff, but I love the soundscapes, and some of that album, like Airbag (which is where I got that line in my siggy from), Karma Police, Paranoid Android, Electioneering, and Lucky all leaned away from the "wuss rock" that you despise so much And seriously, I think Exit Music is the most beautiful song they've ever recorded, bar-none Street Spirit is that song's only competitor.

Agreed! That is by far the best song on the album. Then when the synth choir comes in--- sooo good. That was part of the inspiration behind my song Sci-Fi Epilogue.
