Just some simple stuff to check.

Have you rebooted your PC?

Have you checked your firewall? IT might have blocked your program for some reason.

Also, I use www.ftpsurfer.com for preference, it's another free one. Try installing that, I've found it to be realiable.

failing that, check your FTP sockets are open on your firewall, or try changing the socket that might work.

Disable any P2P software that might be working, close as many programs as you can one at a time, attempting the connection after each attempt, this will help you track down any possible culprates.

Also remember, if you are using Windows XP there is a built in firewall, if you are using a router, there is usually a hardware firewall in that as well. Check both.

Your signature has been erased by a mod because it's larger than 600x120...

um, is the server down?
the website being up may not be an indicator

@Netdemons: Off topic, but do you know how ironic it is for you to have mis-spelled words in your sig (encorrage, comunication)?

"One World, One Web, One Program" -Microsoft ad.
"Ein Volk, Ein Reich, Ein Führer"(One People, One Kingdom, One Leader)-Adolf Hitler.

lmao - i love irony!

1) Can you ping the server?
2) Can you connect to any other servers?
3) Have you restarted - this will fix 99.999% of all windows problems!
4) Exactly what error are you getting (username error? timeout? Server not found?)
5) Are you able to try to connect to it from either a different machine in your network (to rule out an issue on yours) or, preferably, a machine on a different internet connection/ISP (this will rule out your PC, network and ISP).
