Newcomers DBPro Corner / How do you make a variable increase?

For my car game I want a varible to gradually increase to make the acceleration. I know you can do it in C like: carSpeed += 1, but how would I do it in DBPro? Thanks a lot

or more old fashioned: carSpeed=carSpeed + 1

Also, you may not want it to go too fast so you may do
