add about 5 guys outside of a structure and the frame rate drops very drastically. i have an asus mboard with dual pross. and a radeon 955o card also overclocked 60% with watercooling. is it the fpsc engine or is it my system or could it be due to testing mode

The key word is "outside".Outdoor areas can be made in FPSC but they tend to drag down frame rate unless you make them small.
Putting five enemies in basically the same spot will do it too.
Try spacing them farther apart or in different places.Make sure they do not all have the same AI script.
Try those things and see if it makes a difference.

indeed, if more than 3 enemies are too close to each other the 4th and up will not even activate till one of the active ones dies. so 5 all together is kinda useless. stick with 3.
