Newcomers DBPro Corner / Confused with BSP collision

Ok, I'm confused with BSP collision. The help file for the LOAD BSP command says that collision is done automatically... although when I ran my game the main character went straight through the floor. Do I need to write up any collision settings or anything?

I do beleive you can use the SET OBJECT command. look it up on dbp help.

wasnt there a Set Bsp Collision Automatic command at some point?
was it deprecated?
