hey peeps

i decided to take a break from developing corepak today and spent a couple hours sketching, hopefully good enough for my portfolio, we'll see...

after drawing, i scanned in and done some touch ups with photoshop, a little lighting here and there (not entirely accurate, mostly light blooms on the armour) i decided not to colour it, as ive had alot of experience when colouring in sketches, you can really ruin it without getting the exact details, so i left it grayscale

here it is:

tis' meant to be a "slightly futuristic" soldier looking around a corner, in the sketch i was going for a whole scene with a huge battle and all that jazz, but we'll have to see, this guy alone took a while and i got hungry and needed to go away for a while, lol

aaaand to balance this with FPSC, lets just say im concepting this guy for a model

tell me what you think, any pointers and such, i havnt sketched in a while, so i want to know how good/bad it is. I dont know when i'll finish the whole scene, i'll take another crack at it tommorow...

-Jon

I´d like to think that I´m pretty good at drawing, but you are brilliant at drawing!
its even better than what my friend Hans can draw and He is extremely good.
