Hey, I am going to get this guitar http://www.gibson.com/Products/GibsonElectric/Gibson%20Electric%20Guitars/SG%20Specials/SG%20Specials/SG%20Special%20Faded/#

And it comes in worn cherry, and worn brown, but I really can't decide wich one I like... I like the cherry more, bet I am torn between the two...still... Any reccomendations would be good, because I really don't care about the color too much.

Thank You--Torsten

Cherry - 1
Brown - 0

When I get to 3 of one, I'll decide.

That's not a poll option, Black Mesa. D:

So, no one likes the sewage colored one, so flesh colored it is.

Torsten,

Have you played this particular model yet? Just ask because getting a nice color is great, but if it looks good and you don't like the way it plays then who the heck cares about the color. My main guitar is Hot Pink, not because I like the color, but because I brought my amp and gear to alot of shops and tried out alot of guitars before I found it and it was the only one they had. Nothing wrong with buying off the net but make sure you head down to your local shop and try the exact model out first. Just my opinion.

hey thats an excellent guitar!

Of course no whammy bar but just FYI the red looks a bit more worn in RL. Looks better actually, less fake than in that picture.

Id definately say from experience that I like the cherry color the best.

Actually I prefer the worn-brown, looks more classic.

my guitar has a black boody with a wooden arm.
plays as good as me also, so it's a perfect match.
but i'm really not interested in guitars, aslong as i have one that works i'm happy with it.

too many people i've met have a guitar with that form, and their all red, black, white etc. never seen a wooden brown one before, so i would pick the brown one if it was up to me.

So, that is a strat? Looks exactly the same as mine, only mine has a black body with a wood color in the center.

Yes, I have, my friend brought his over, I played it, he came back, took it away from me, and accidentally broke the neck off his guitar.

I still really cant decide wich one to get...

I'd go for the worn brown. It has a more classic feel to it and looks better then the cherry. The Gibson SG was a great choice. Those fabulous humbucker pickups and the slick body design.

You know, Tony Iommi(Black Sabbath) and Eric Clapton(Cream) both used a Gibson SG as one of their main guitars. Clapton's "Fool" Guitar was an SG.

@Saikoro
I have a strat also but with the sunburst paint job and silver hardware. Was the gold a mod or did it come like that?

I was thinking of adding a stacked humbucker pickup to my strat so I could get rid of a lot that unwanted feedback you get with single coil pickups. The gibson already comes with a humbucker so you don't have anything to worry about. Heres what I'm talking about for those who are clueless on guitars:http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Seymour-Duncan-SHR1-Hot-Rail-Stacked-Single-Coil-Pickup?sku=300300

Custom shop guitars are custom all around, mate

I like my coils on my strat. I went and bought an Ibanez S for heavier sound with sharp distortion, but still tone to play through blues and jazz reasonably okay But I'll usually just pick my strat up for that.

I have a Yamaha SE612, my pink one. Dimazzio Pick Ups and a Floyd Rose/Kahler bastard for the trem. Any one else ever play this model. I was looking for another one and all I could find was someone selling a neck (they wanted $600 for it a teeny bit more than I wanted to pay )
