You dont have to submit sites to google - pretty much makes bugger all difference.
Google has trawled this site looking for content and links. Ever post you make has a link to your site (just as every post I make has a link to mine). Google see this and follows it.
On your side, the fact you have no title, meta data, or in fact any content worth indexing (no offence, site looks like a WIP) so Google hasn't really seen your site as a priority to index. It also has no way of navigating off the home page.
I appologise if my origional post sounded offensive - I just find it annoying when people start spouting off like they know what they're talking about when in actual fact they know very little. By hobby and profession I am a webmaster. I regularly see people saying things are bad but they never qualify WHY. In this post I have seen you spout that frames are bad and layers are better but I'm pretty sure you dont know WHY. You've just heard someone else say it.
Depending on the type of site you're going for - there is a LOT more to it that using frames or CSS or layers... The Design (as in the bit you SEE) is just to make people think "wow thats pretty" but there is NO point having a nice design if your site is uselessly designed in the engine room or in the SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) room. Whats the point in having a nice looking site if Google/Yahoo/MSN cant see it or trawl it? Basic SEO is easy (good navigation, meta tags, titles, etc) but the proper top end SEO is something people (often VERY intelligent ones) base careers on.
@Chris: I appologise if I offended you about your site - but on every point I made, your site failed. If you have one in the works then great! But make sure it fits those points, otherwise its another failure.
