PooS. I really can\'t think of much to say about this. I just felt something this ridiculous needed to be brought here for discussion.

I know Sony have been copying the Wii for some time, but this is too far. It has to be intentional though. Surely Sony have English speakers in influential positions. Either that or no-one banked on us lot being immature over an infinite sign...

Sony has been copying the wii?!? How? Link? With the exception of the controller (which as I recall was actually stolen by both companies as it was planned (but scrapped because it was probably impossible back then) for the infamous 3DO) there's really nothing the same between them.

They didn't copy the Wii, more like stole the concept of creating a fugged up name for themselves to get media and fan attention like the Wii did.

(As well as it's own arsenal of lame poop jokes)

I can't wait to see headlines about PS3 shortages. "We have all the machines manufactured, there just aren't enough PooS for everone. We want to make sure everyone has PooS with which to play their PS3 games."

You must understand that Matt Rock takes anything negative about the PS3 as though we're insulting his own mother. Take with grain of salt.

Hey, leave the 3DO outta this! And it was the 2600 that had the tilt controller IIRC.

But wasn't 3DO planning on the wireless controller first? Maybe I'm mistaken. And hey! I'm the ONLY hardcore Sony fan on TGC, I need to be as defensive as not-cursing will allow You guys have power in numbers

We don't all completely hate Sony. We just think the PS3 is not going to be as cool as PS2. I am a proud owner of a PS2 with Guitar Hero, MGS3, FFX, and Ico.

We just want the Sony that made the Playstation back - the PS2 is a prime example of what Sony just does not do - reselling old technology for such a long time. I mean, the PS2 is like an aging rocker - the PS2 is Ozzy.

Personally, I'd like them just to shut up and show us the damn console - if we like, we buy, if not, we don't.

I already know I'm getting a Wii, everybody is, even you Matt, you know it! - but the 360 or the PS3 is still in the air.

Maybe there should be a duel, like the PS3 vs 360 - but these days that won't happen, notice how much trickier it is getting to compare games. Used to be you could take a PS2 game and XBox game and compare them and see a noticable difference, these days that must not be convenient for publishers. The games that are multi-platform these days are tackled in marketting friendly ways - big games like Kong, where next gen technology has to be evident are fine to compare, because you only have the 360 version - and if in 6 months they make a PS3 version then they can compare it to a year old console. My concearn is that Sony steal the Res' Evil franchise and we never see a game as awesome as RE4 ever again unless we own a PSP or PS3. I'll buy whatever console has the best games, if I was that bothered by graphics then I'd spend the money on a graphics card for my PC.

One of the most sensible things ever said! I hate it when people buy stuff just for the name (says the person who wouldn't by a 360 on the principle that its made by M$...)!

EDIT: Then again - Sony are getting just as bad with their ripping people off. I'm so p****d that they wont let people make homebrew apps for the PSP (I know you can if you keep your version number down, but I like modern games!)

∞ ∞ ∞

^ Those are infinity symbols... it's not oo, they're connected. I'm sure most of you know that already but I wanted to elaborate for those who didn't. That's the simplified logo for my company (ours has a prettier version of that with some stuff going on behind it, hehe)

Haha, yours and like 50 others. The last company I worked for, Infinite Games, also had that logo.

I want a poos!

No, a wii is much better, it doesn't smell as bad!

But a poos gives you that refreshing feeling afterwords!

etc.

Technically shouldn't they all last the exact same amount of time? I find it kinda funny that a company with the infinity symbol could cease to exist.

hehehe. So, after we release games, will we earn money that never ends? hehe I could pay everyone on TGC (except Strong Bad of course) $500,000 a week for "consulting"

Sounds good as long as the check does not take an infinite amount of time to clear.
