Hey, I just started, like yesterday, and am very interested, but have no clue where to start? so does any body have any ideas/tips?
Anything that will help me at all? I am using DarkBASIC, not pro.

You start with an idea for a game, then you make the game by loading the graphics, and models, and then you position them, and then you decide how you want to move them, and then you add the HUD or GUI, and then maybe the scoring, and then a menu, and then the sounds, and that's it.

Start by seeing if you can get things to move around, or print to the screen (you've probably done that one). Then, continue on, thinking of different things that you can try to do. When you're done getting firmiliar with the commands, use PRINT with variables so you can see the changes that they go through.

USEFUL COMMAND for step-by-step things: Suspend for key

then put a wait 200 or something so you can release the key.

You'll get it.

I doubt you can draw me/60 by hand, so you REALLY can't draw ME/1, can you? Okay, you do that. Just tell me when you're done, I'll be someplace else having a life.

Well rhere one simple way of doind it, that is write in the IDE what you want it the game to do.

then just change each print statment into a function or gosub.

My Specs: Geforce 6200 128 MB.,3.0 GHZ Pentium 4 Processer, 512 MB Ram.
