I thought the proper N signing was put back to 2007 now? Thought all the ones out now were draft-N, and one review I read a couple of weeks ago (of 3 or 4 different routers) slagged them off a bit and essentially said when it sped up it was pretty good, but the vast majority of the time they were a fair bit slower than the same companies "super-G" versions. Plus they were nowhere near as good with the coverage.
Sounds good though if it's all been sorted quickly. I was really hoping on setting up one of those routers that had like dual N so could achieve something like 600-700mbits or somesuch. Ah yes the sweet smell of true high def over a wireless network.
And the sweet sounds of every other wireless system in the neighborhood getting trashed because of it (apparently). Heh
And unless you have amazing internet (ie. faster than at least B and if we are going for a fairly standard G then internet would have to be faster than 54mbits) then shouldn't have noticed much of a speed up. Unless of course your old router was a bit of a duffer or the new one just happens to be a lot better made. Or you also upgraded your computers while you were at it.
Cheers
I am 99% probably lying in bed right now... so don't blame me for crappy typing
