I made a down-tube with Anim8or but you can look thorugh it when looking from the inside out? See screenshot.
How to I fix that?

correct me if I'm wrong, but i have a possible solution. just go back to editig the object in your program, and make an object exactly like that, on the same spot, with the textured side facing inward, becuase I think normally only one side of a model is textured, so just have a clone of it flipped inside out, and it might have a texture on the inside, at least that fixed a problem similar to that for me...

the problem is called "culling" where backfaces of polygons are not displayed

well, im not even sure about that, its a setting programmed into the engine, i should think the only way to get around it is to actually model without exposing any backfaces

what you really need is a 3d modeler that lets you do boolean subtraction, from the looks of the tube, it just needs to have it have surface on the inside part and the outside...
