From the better box item for Magic FPS post comes a new crate I did for the pack.
Nice to have the different sides.
See someone wanted to make a matrix game so going to make some columns.

Nice stuff. Maybe you could make some more work on textures.

Wheel Gator has just come back after a 1 year leave. A lot of things have changed since then, so I think we could cut him at least a little bit of slack--after all, a year ago, acronyms with explicits in them were fine, and were starred out words, and you'd have a 90% chance of getting away with some of the lower class swear words.

Of course, that may not justify what he said. He could have made that criticism constructive by all means, but I suppose that's just sort of part of his personality. We'll have to see.

Oh, and CD, the models are quite good. Although I agree that the textures could use some work, they arn't overly horrible. Good job .

Instead of just saying something sucks maybe give some suggestions on what you might do to improve the textures.Nobody became an expert at texturing overnight.
We all need to be a little nicer to each other.

I agree on cutting Wheely a little slack, because of his long sabatical; however, Fred is right. Please try to be more constructive, and less destructive; alright W.G.? Everybody's got to follow the same rules here, and I don't want to see you go away for another "length" of time.

Don't let one person spoil it for everybody, Candle; I know I felt the same way as you at times here.

I'm sorry, but there is such thing as constructive criticism, you may not like his work, but there is no need to go around calling it crap, if you don't like something and want it to change, how on earth is it going to be accomplished when you bring that person down (as you did in his other thread as well) I mean, C&C can go a long way. Instead of saying bits are crap, offer some advice, like 'I think there could be more work done here, see how leaves are textured here, here is a tutorial on getting good looking plants', if you can only say that is crap, then no point posting the comment at all, it helps no one, but offends them instead.

Candles; they look like a good start, I think some of these could do with better quality textures, I mean, the image size will make differance to the quality there. As for plants, they can be awkward to model, but they do rely on textures and alpha maps more than anything else, some plants can be achieved by appling a .png (with transparency) image on a plane that is duplicated and rotated on the y axis, the texture would be a 2D version of the plant, this is called 'billboarding'. Although the plant would be quite basic, but it has good performance whilst still looking good.

Another good point is the models are free and if someone doesn't like the texutre(s) they can modify them or make their own.

Ok connor lets see if we can help you here.
Download the setuplevel.fpi file .
Make a backup of your setuplevel.fpi that you will find in your
Crogram FilesThe Game CreatorsFPS CreatorFileslanguagebankenglishgamebankmygame folder
Now copy the file setuplevel.fpi that you download of mine and drop it in to the Crogram FilesThe Game CreatorsFPS CreatorFileslanguagebankenglishgamebankmygame folder over righting the old one.
Now open the setuplevel.fpi in notepad and find the line
:state=0:hudreset,hudx=11,hudy=7,hudimage=languagebankenglishgamecorehudshealthhud.dds,hudmake=display
You see where it says languagebankenglishgamecorehudshealthhud.dds you need to make sure the healthhud.dds is in that folder if not change the path or move the healthhud.dds to it.
Now find the line ;Ammo desplay hud
:state=0:hudreset,hudx=33,hudy=7,hudimage=gamecorehudsammohud.dds,hudtype=3,hudmake=display
And make sure you have the ammohud.dds in the same folder and if not move it to there.
Restart FPSC and you should be good to go.
