Does anyone know how you change the Rounds Per Minutes (RPM)
On a Processor fan. I need to do so because my Fan always get really nosiy when the CPU working over 70%(It's very quiet when i use internet or media players), but when i play a game it always get really noisy.

If you know a program that can help me, please answer.

Thx

BIOS settings might have that, but really are you sure you want to mess with this stuff? - be careful, you could easily fry your processor.

lmao - yes... When your CPU works hard you want to SLOW the fan... That makes perfect logical sense!! There is actually a reason the fan speeds up you know. Judging by the fact you didn't - I'd stay WELL away from the BIOS.

When you play games it needs to speed the fan up because chips get hotter the more they do stuff. Like Van B says, you are in danger of killing your pc if you tinker with fan speeds.

There are quite a few programs out there that let you fiddle with fan speeds, so long as your setup has all the right controllers.

Speedfan is the most popular.

LEGAL DISCLAIMER - I will not be responsible if your pc suddenly goes up in smoke!

buy one of those tiny little fans... (say... 1 inch by 1 inch) it will make less noise.

Of course according to the last person I talked to. My fan, which is infamous for noise, is falling apart. Yours might need replacing (and if you do, have a pro do it)
