It wouldn't be much good if it didn't. I bet it will work with anything that you want it to. All you should have to do is tell it where you want all of the trees and grass, and it will do the rest. I imagine you'll use a plantmap, similar to a heightmap, for the XZ placements, and the Y placements would simply be heightmap dependent.

Yes it works with Advanced Terrain. No we're not ready to release it for a long while yet, plenty more still to be done first.

its aliencodec bltzTree, and blitzGrass systems remade for DBP
check out the news letter.

the reason I asked is because grass plugin from accode dont seem to work with advanced terrain, it works fine with matrix terrain.

I cant wait till Dark Earth comes out. I could use it now to manage loading trees and grass on my terrain.

just like update terrain command I hope they have update trees/grass commands, because now I load everything trees/grass/rocks after creating the terrain and it kinda kills my fps with all vegitation loaded. Tree/grass systems should help a lot because it'll only load whats in your view.

it'll be nice too if you could assign regions to randomly place trees/grass, and maybe assign min and max elevations for the region.

also it'll be cool if you could specify a certain tree, at an extact location for landmarks.

DarkEarth... why stick only to trees and grass, lets add rocks, or do we do rocks by loading a rock model instead of a tree???

I'm too excited about this.
