One suggestion, make it longer, oh yeah, and a better design. Not to mention don't copy the TGC newsletter.

that GM tutorial is from before thee 3d engine that gadget3D made... that was about 6 years ago.

other than that the only thing i can reccommend is an aesthetic quality to keep people reading. ie banners, a background or some type of visual design to attract people.
