well i was making a program and used CASE and dbp said command out of place. please help

okay i changed it but then why did it say CASE needs a literal paremiter?

you can't do
"case blah$"
case is used to descibe a specific instance of what a varible might be.

i fixed it. and realized when after CASE any characters have to be in
"". I read the hands on dbp and it didn't say that.figures.
