Hey, I am in need of help. When I export my weapons from Milkshape to FPSC, I get a problem. The back disappears as seen in the screenshot. Can any Milkshapers who have imported weapons before without this problem, tell me the settings they use for exporting? Thanx in advance.

I can... I have like 25 weapons imported from milkshape

I use the JT exporter with these settings

right handled, close holes, exclude normals,

Position offset and rotation all at 0

position scaling = 1

format = direct x skin and bones, binary, s&b templates

Animation time factor = 0

animation name = anim-1

And then ok

The truth is still unknown... or is it!

Thanks I will try it, I am animating a weapon right now. If it works, I would kiss you, but I am not that kind of man!

It doesn't work, I still have the same problem. The only way I can fix it is by moving the gun all the way in front of the camera, which looks bad. I cannot figure this out. Anymore help is much appreciated.

Those are the settings I use... don't know why it isn't working, I positioned my last gun like that and it looked good.

What version of milkshape do you have? I use 1.7.7a

No, I never get inverted polys, and I mean never. I am very careful when I model. But I may have found another solution. I will see if it works later.
