Try the export option.It will export your models in .3ds.

If using the models in DBPro I would not export them as 3DS as support for them is not too good. Use one of the directx exports and save the model in .x format.

I don't see why DBPro can't support 3DS Files, get's annoying

Anyway, he's using DBC anyway. A good 3ds to x converter comes with DBC, you can try using it if you like.

I've loaded .3ds files before. I did a load object on a .3ds file and it loaded fine.

anyone knows why milkshape works fine with exporting .x object and creates VERY weird objects when exporting .x with animations?
