@tj990- I'm not trying to be mean but I think you should really do a google search or spend some time with wikipedia, because asking that is kinda basic to game design. I mean honestly, if you don't know that, you really don't need to be in game design till you come back with at least a little game knowlage that you learned on your own. If not, no one will respect you or even offer you help.
