dude,
I know you're new, so heres a warning.
If you ask for free stuff like that, people are going to really have a go at you. Weapons are very hard to make, and people get offended when people just ask for things for free.

But... I'm nice.

Go to the free stuff section at the top of the forum. There are alot of free weapons there, including a dual handgun that I made.

You will need a reasonable knowledge of the files structure of FPSC, but I think one of the weapon posts will include instructions.

Peace and Powerpuffs/

butters.

DONT FLAME THIS GUY!

maybe you should check out butterfingers recent post about the gunspec and its workings. He has detailed and descriptive pics that explain quite a bit.

It did that because you put it in as an entity. If you read the installation instructions, you have to copy the gun into the

gamecore/guns/ww2 folder. unzip it into that folder.

then it will work. And enough people got it working, so it must just be you!

And check out the gunspec tutorial too. thanks for the comment on that dist13

you place it in gamecore/guns

THEN you right click the player start marker in game and set the Has Weapon field to 'dualglock'

3d game maker is very very basic, and you can make a limited 3d shooter. far as I know you cant edit levels, or place entities. No map editor etc. But you know, from the sound of things, it might be a good place for you to start!

Peace,
butters

lol. you mean thank god for patient people like me!! I'm glad you got it working

Um the katana is scrapped. I didn't really need it for my game (not a whole lot of katanas in derelict industrial facilities).

@jonathan samson - Some good advice from a rather recent noob, learn how the file structure for FPSC is organized. It will help you in the future once you see what files go with others and how they are placed in the directory. Learning that has saved me a lot of headaches and responses from people like crow34.

If you didnt have anything constructive or helpful for this new guy,, WHY POST ANYTHING AT ALL? You could have very easily read the post, felt it wasnt anything you wanted to help out with and left.

Just a thought from a bitter old man I suppose.

maybe if you spent as much time and money as i have learning to model you might understand where i was coming from and how annoying it is for noobs to beg for free models

rather than take the time to learn the skills for them selves
seen as there is a free resources thread at the top of this forum

and i spend most of my time posting models to this forum any way

and seen as i have been on this forum from the beginning of early adopter fpsc and since then all the problems and flamewars were caused and have been caused from posts like this

thats why drastic measures such as the fpsc mod squad are designated police force were needed

i am more than happy to help any body who wishes to learn a little and have more respect for them than somebody who just wishes to benefit from other peoples work

i guess i too am a bitter old man who knows where these kind of posts end up

@Crow34

Well, as I dont want to turn this into a one on one issue, I will say that you could have reasoned your feelings a little better than telling a new user to "stop begging".

I respect everyone on this board that has contributed to the community, and my hat goes off to all of them, including yourself, ut I dont feel that it's beneficial to anyone new to get slammed for asking for something, because I can almost guarantee that there isnt anyone using this board who hasnt asked for 1 thing or another, and if there is, it will be the first time I have ever seen it happen.

From 1 bitter old man to another.
