hi I was wondering if anyone can please take this hud request, if yes the design:

on the left side is the Health (big) and Lives (small) huds. on the right there is the ammo hud and if you can make it so every weapon I use will show up in the circle. and for the backgrounds I would like kind of army looking.

thank you very much
cheers,

Eidan

I think we already went over that in a different thread, but I did a PSP tut. If the systems are similar then you may be able to do the same things and get the same results. Here is the link-

i took your drawing, and filled it in with color and stuff, and added black to the background to make it transparent, but that didn't work. heres a tutorial on how to make HUD's in The Gimpin the list of tutorials, i recomend looking at that, becuase my attempt failed. sorry,

Brett Snow

give you some advice to make huds easily for those using photoshop

search on google for a .dds plugin

after installed make a new document in photoshop , set the canvas to transparent

make you HUD, when saving , choose .dds, and set the settings to 8:8:8:8 ARGB (32 BIT)

now its saved as a .dds document and the transparency will work

ill give a better tutorial on a later date

its the easiest way to make them without having to worry about the alpha map stuff

I already have that program, what i wan't is something that lets Adobe Photoshop use dds files without converting them. but thanks for the effort.

and it's not coming so well, no matter what i do it's not transparent.
