by making music, do u mean synthesizers (is that spelled right?) or mixers?

theres loads!! i use fruityloops or reason....as they are pretty much set and ready to go...but pro's generally use cubase sx and logic

great software

but there are lots of other programs you can use but Magix is a lot easier to use

Yes, Fruity Loops is my favorite. Fruity Loops has been the easiest for me. It takes a while to learn, but probably not near as long as some.

I've used cool edit pro, now it's owned by adobe and called "adobe audition." It's good for finishing up what you've started and I use it to convert to wav and slice it the way I want it for fps creator.

thanks everyone for helping me out! although i already have fruityloops, i was looking for another program to use.
ill check out Magix Music Maker and sony acid xmc and ill see how that goes.

But i was wondering if there was a program especialy made for making fast and "up-beat" music, perfect for games?
