yeah man, good work. I'm sorry those textures were ripped tho, cuz I was really impressed.

Did you realise that cold blood was a res-evil style adventure game that got released about 7 years ago?

This is REALLY good.

Suggestion: Add a dash of light. In some of your screenshots it was just too dark to see.

I'm gonna play it cause atm it doesnt look extremely scary but its sure to bring my excitement level up

i just hope its not TOO much like silent hill cause i couldnt even finish playing it lol i got to the mannequins which are in the apartment then i quit

Those darn mannequins always punchin ppl with theyre litte plastic legs n all

I like the mud spitters they have the creepiest walk ...and are easiest to kill

Silent Hill is one of my favorite game series ,the story ,the characters ,the monsters(espeically Silent Hill 4) ,the scenes i just can't get enough of them.

have you ever heared the soundtracks of the four games ? it's AWESOME!!!

Please lemme state that I'm not launching a personal attack or anything against you, cuz that's just not me, but I do have to say that though the screens look great its kinda easy to make something that looks good with ripped textures from a game that has been proven to be successful. I think people would be more impressed if you had at least attempted to make your own textures or at least alter the textures a bit. I mean, it's really taking credit for someone elses work and in the end isnt as impressive as if you would have made a lesser quality texture on your own. Like I said this isn't an attack, it's just my opinion. perhaps you can look online and find some tutorials on textureing with filters and effects. A perfect example is Jon from this forum; he bought a book that explained allot to him and in my honest opinion, he can make textures that rival, if not beat the pants off of some of the "professional" games I see out there now. I hope you take what I'm saying as a constructive crticisim for future use.

I have to give it to you the level design is very nice. Framerate was good too.I suspect you used signs to keep the polly count down where you could; good move. Objects were placed like they should and the sets were dressed well. You just have to get some legal textures and you may have something very nice. Also you need to learn about assigning keys to specific doors, cuz I opened a door that was supposed to be locked and it led to the skybox. Lighting was good and could be used as a lessen to all those "my level is dark so it makes it scarey" people. Find some legal textures , Replace those, and you will have a decent game worthy of selling when it's complete.

What where you playing it on, a ZX81?

My 1.8 GHz AMD system is hardly what you'd call powerful, but I was getting 32 fps for almost the entire level (which I thought was very well constructed and lit - nice work OJA ).

i have a 2.6ghz processorand i dont know how is that possible
and i closed like a bunch of programs
and no windows were open
and im sure my gfx card can support it cause when i had
rollercoaster tycoon 3 (might put it back on dont know yet) it handled it very well just jumped around for like 2 seconds but other then that it ran smoothly now i dont know aobut this but ill see if i can get it to play better on my comp

I personally didn't like the lighting. I don't really see well in dark games, so a little colored lighting like a dark orange would be good.

ps. on a scale from one to ten on eye strain i give it a 6. I had to walk along the walls so i didnt run into a box or anything.

A door led to a skybox.

I went up all those stairs to find absolutely nothing.

I couldn't find the win zone to save my life.
