I've been a user of Darkbasic Classic as well as Pro for some time. I've never been active on the forums as far as posting, but thought some of you may enjoy participating in my company's gaming contest. The tournament game is Flash, but we use DarkBasic Pro to protoype different game ideas and will hopefully produce a commercial game with it in the future.
If you're interested in competing, the tournaments are held weekly and do have
cash prizes for the top three hiscores. These are non-gambling contests with
no fees or deposits,
no spam (see privacy policy), and
no stupid surveys. Simply register for a free account and see if you're the best. Tournaments end/restart every Saturday at midnight (CST). Email me if you have any questions or comments.
