well in many games( mostly ghost ) enemies just come infront of u by fade out. means u c sumwhere and u c a fire effects and from there a ghost is coming out. like painkiller. . like enemies comming form a other dimension.

it has only been 1 hour. You have no right to post like that. These are good people giving help on their time, not yours. Be thoughtful, curt, and patient.

Okay, what EXACTALLY do you want. Not everyone is a game-a-holic who has played every single game that was ever made. And not everone is willing to buy a game just to see what you mean. Describe in exact detail what is suppose to happen. And make it more then 1 sentence, make it a 4 sentence paragraph.

If he is fading in then it is simply

:plrdistfurther=200:setalphafade=50
:plrdistwithin=175:setalphafade=63
:plrdistwithin=150:setalphafade=75
:plrdistwithin=125:setalphafade=88
:plrdistwithin=100:setalphafade=100

as you aproach the enemy he will gradually get more solid.

This, of course, is an addon to any existing AI script on these boards. FPSC Defaults might screw up because they use SHOOT.fpi

This was done at setalphafade=35 I think. It's been a while.

I did this at home and it worked fine. When I tried it at work, the entity was 100% visible no mater what value I used for setalphafade, once again proving the unpredictability of FPSC scripting.

BTW: When it did work, it did not apply to the enemy's gun which was fully visible even when the enemy was 100% invisible. It was rather comical watching a gun floating around and shooting me. Of course the shadow was also visible.

Merranvo pretty much gave you that answer. You graduate the entities setalphafade value. Just alter his code to your liking.
