In the military, I meet a strange new breed of people. In my mind, nerds are academic, pimply, anti-social, and slightly obnoxious. In the military I met dumb nerds - dumb, pimply, anti-social, and slightly obnoxious. I was totally surprised, but it makes sense. Not every nerd can be smart and rich. The rejects have to go somewhere so they can continue to live and play D&D.

Don't get me wrong, most military are totally cool. But there is that strange subculture of Army mutants that hide their faces from the sunlight...

Quote: "Correction"

I hope there was a hint of irony in your reply there. You see, you've immediately demonstrated my point by starting a sentence with an abrubt "Correction".

I'm reminded of a classic scene from Family Guy. Peter is in the bank and 2 guys bust in with ski masks and guns, holding the place up. The police arrive, and one of the robbers says "We're gonna need a hostage - but who?" to which Peter replies "Ahem... shouldn't that be 'whom'?"

Yeah, we'll go with that one so you don't discover my true identity, that I'm an abnoxious nerd...and I'm sure it don't help that I am typing all this out as I think But yeah, you gotta love that Family Guy, mental.

The only ironic thing about Irony is when Jeromy Irons hits you with a steam iron made of iron singer cover songs to Iron Maiden...can't get ironic or as moronic as that.

I don't think you understand the word ironic.

Lol, Irony as the word 'iron' the sentence being full of the word 'iron' makes it 'ironic' but not in the tense of the actual definition of irony...why is it people try to correct me on my politically incorrect jokes? I hate having to explain them.

I've yet to be given any proof whatsoever that you can't make a commercial-quality game using DBP. Just because it hasn't been done yet doesn't mean it won't be.

What do you mean? There are lots of examples of commercial games done in DBP. Look at the Mahjong game from Garage Games--- or the Star Wraith series.

I miss punchcards. That's how I had to learn programming in college, back in the time of Noah. I think efficiency in completing a project is a major consideration in deciding what language to use. In the business world it's called "satisficing" (spelled correctly here), and DBP is a plus in that regard.
