How does one go about making sounds? I am looking to make some good scifi like sounds, plasma guns firing, alien war cries, etc. Would SFXEngine be a good tool for this? Any suggestions appreciated.

And if you can't, there's Audacity.

Audacity is what I currently use, is SFXEngine any better or should I just stick with Audacity?
