I have searched quite thouroughly, I think. I don't even knnow if that's the right term. I mean a program that wraps a 2D picture file over a 3D model.

But it just modifies the map of a .obj . No good if the .obj isn't already mapped!

Lithunwrap, it is what I use, very good one. Google it or look on the last page in the Tutorial city thread near the top of this forum section.
