I wouldnt say i'm a Halo fanatic, although i do like playing the game.. after reading some reviews of the Halo Graphic Novel, basically a comic book created by some very talented artists from Marvel aswell as Bungie Studios, i've become quite interested in having a read so i just ordered it and it will be arriving on August 1st to August 2nd..

Has anyone gotten a chance to pick up a copy, read through it? I'd like some customer feedback, and not so much reviewers feedbacks.. Thanks guys!

Well those are some good companies, but if they just made it to get fanatics to buy it i'd say dont expect too much.

but with the determination and passion marvel employees have for there work, and the fact that bungie used to make ONLY mac games i'd say there is some extreme detication in between the makers of the comic.

Could go either way, let us know how it is.

Just a heads up that Ign has a small review page up for the graphic novel if anyone is interested in reading it... For those who want the quick summary, IGN rated it as a -MUST READ-.

Just got the book, read through it.. Fantastic read. The graphics were incredibly detailed, and i'm glad that they didnt have any of the stories in the novel based on the Master Chief.. All of the stories more or less revolved around what else was going on in other places while the chief was doing his thing.

I like the fact that they expanded the thoughts of the readers so we now think, 'Holy crap, the halo universe is huge and they can write thousands of different stories based on it'.. Obviously the writers/artists were very familiar with the game/storyline as the fluidity of each story(there are 4 different stories in the book) were amazingly fitting.

I highly suggest picking this book up, makes for a fantastic read and a good keepsake!
