I'm sure I came across a thread asking this question a week or so ago but I didn't read the replies and now I can't find the thread so I apologise to anyone who feels they are experiencing deja vu.

Is there a way in DBC, of customising the icon for the final EXE? You know like most games have their own icon instead of a boring grey square so that the user knows what game to load without having to read the title

Maybe it has nothing to do with DarkBASIC at all, but if anyone knows how I can do this I'd appreciate your help.

Cheers

To the best of my knowledge you cannot change the icon with darkbasic, so you have to find a program that does it for you,

but most of the time it really screws up the program so that it doesn't run.

The icons have to be the EXACT same size or else it'll screw it up.

Not sure why, but if you want to, just google "exe icon changer"

I use a program called 'Icon Changer' (very self explanatory). And it works good, but you have to be careful.

Anyways, hope this helped!

It has to be 4 bits and 32x32 else it wont run.

Yeah, but how big is the icon supposed to be by pixels? I dunno. I couldn't open an .ico in Photoshop...
