Hi! I just want to know if you can make a ladder or a wall to act like those ladders from games like Quake or Half Life. I mean, when you touch the vertical ladder/wall, you go up pressing the up arrow. Is this possible? Thanks for the help!

When my pack is released in a week, I will have 2 ladders that are climbable. This is what 1 ladder will look like. The other is a folding step ladder.

This ladder does not require jumping. You just simply walk up it like a regular ladder.

No no and no. This is not what I need. What I need is a ladder "Half Life" style, 100% vertical. Is that possible or not, is my question.

The answer is categorically a No.

Unless a particular FPSC user wants to put in the effort to try and make that possible.

It wont happen until either a user does it or TGC reintroduce support for a true ladder capability.

Currently I doubt anyone will wish to put in the considerable effort that may be needed only to find that the possible FPSC update will bring ladders back or make it possible for users to do so themselves much more easily than is currently likely to be the case.

As with some other issues its unlikely that the end user will be able to overcome engine obstacles to achieving a correctly working true ladder.

TGC did not remove it for no reason - if it were possible to have have a stable ladder then you would have it by default.

Well if it's a 100% half life style ladder, why dont you just get worldcraft and start modding half life maps..sheesh.
