Ok I was wondering if i could destroy a npc in the game and make it respawn in a new location using a trigger zone.

Im new at scripting so if u provide me with a script i would love to know where to put it.

I hope someone can help thanks.

Ok there is a directory called "Script bank" (I think), and you put the scripts there.
If you want a specific stript look see if its already here via search. Try to start your own script, and then ask for help. You will be amazed at how much more help you will get.

One on the sticky threads at the top of the script thread page, has information on how to start.

You are probably thinking "But I know nothing about scripting", which is true, but lots and lots of people will respect noob questions about scripts you have written, (and often post the whole solution), rather than when you post a "Give me a script"

and in answer to your question, that's not possible. Unless the characters new post-death location is the same location as where he FIRST started.

I am not sure that its impossible - unless anyone has proved that to be the case and has tried and failed miserably, but it may well be so.

There is a default script which supposedly spawns another entity on the death of an original entity - though I have never looked into it so dont know exactly what its designed specifically to do nor whether or not it indeed works at all. Some things that exist in FPSC dont work at all as originally intended.

It may be possible to achieve or to achieve some kind of workaround but whatever the case, it may not be easy.

As with many things FPSC if it dont exist by default then it may be hard to achieve.
