I've been working on a game and for some reason no one attacks my character :/ i've tried a bunch of scripts: shoot, sniper, shootclose, intelimatter, etc. which srcipt should i use and when i give AI rate of fire: 0 for rapid and they still don't shoot

Also when i give the character AI a weapon he shoots green loops at me how can i stop this because i don't like my enemies' thompsons shooting lazers

I guess the makers of FPSC made a mistake. 0 means no fire, while 100 means rapid fire.

Give a man some bullets, and he'll want a gun. Give a man a gun and he'll be giving away the bullets!!

could it have something to do with how certain scripts act?

I still really want to know how to make it that the character AI doesn't shoot green rings at me, I want bullets or lazers. Anyone know how?

I have no idea what you are doing?

Place any enemy having a weapon in a level and dont mess with it any further and he should shoot at you - end of story. I have never myself seen one that does not so have no idea why you should have a problem.

The default scripts should be fine - it has nothing to do with that.

Never seen any weapon shoot green rings.

You cannot have model bullets flying around by default.

You cannot have laser weapons by default.

I beleive you - its just not what should happen.

When you say it "was" crazy as in past tense - does that mean its not any more and its working OK now?

Clearly a reinstall may an option if your problems persist as its likely something has gome badly wrong if you are getting green ring decals firing from a weapon and seem to have numerous other unusual behaviours occuring.

Having a default enemy shoot at you correctly should be a simple matter of placing one and no more.

Best of luck for tomorrow then.

If you get it working correctly - try and start with some simple stuff and dont get too complicated to make sure all is OK.

Youre welcome,

Hope to get it working quickly. I am sure you will and it will seem like a bad dream.

Can be frustrating I know.

ya i reinstalled it this morning. It works fine now but it's still frustrating. I've probaly deleted about 19 characters so far because the program won't let it pass. My theory is that Lee made sure that the program would look for things to turn into errors. So I love how this program works amd what it does but I hate the load times so much that when ever I hear a PC beep I think something has gone wrong. Even when it does anyother noise I believe something has gone wrong. But at least it works now.

Do you know if FPS Creator V2 will be less buggy and have more content? Because it would make my small business go a bit smoother.
