okay, i am using that book advertised on this very site and i'm only on chapter 3 so i'm probally getting way ahead of myself but i'm just having trouble figuring out how hello worrld programs and random printing code is gonna help me write a game

it's going to help because you will need to place and use random numbers in most of your games.. it also helps to build your logic skills
