This problem is probably easily solved but i thought i would throw it to the masses anyway. While practicing the technique of the "camera chasing the car" view, when my vehicle is in motion and attempts to turn the car moves jerkily and thus so does the camera pointing at it. when the car straightens again the jerking stops, but when in the notion of turning it starts to jump again. Any ideas?

Are you using integers for the rotation? That would cause stuttering as there would only be 360 possible positions you can rotate through.

Try adding a "#" to the end of your variables

How else can I rotate an object without using integers for degrees?

You could use 'turn object' rather than 'rotate object' but I wouldn't think that if you are using rotate object, there would be much jerking at all, as it uses degrees for it's rotation. Post your code

unless I'm being dim you can use floats for degrees too - that way you can turn 0.5 degrees.

Its slower to do float maths though

You can use floats, its just that there are 360 degrees in a full rotation, so there shouldn't be much jerking if you use integers.

are you just making the camera rotate with the car when it does, or are you using the "set camera to follow" command? 'cos if you use that, you can set any amount of smoothing you want on your camera
Look it up in the help menu for an example
