Bah humbug to the radio. They haven't played anything cool on the radio since... well... since I left the air
lol. But seriously, I haven't listened to the radio since then. Being a DJ at a college radio station, for whatever reason, made me hate modern music more than I ever did before then. So either music has made a turn for the worse (as it often does), or all of the Elvis Costello and Jeff Buckley songs made me hate modern rock (except that band I talk about too much). It's probably a combination of the two.
Once upon a time, in a land far away (called "the 1970's and '80's), Punk Rock had a message. Sex Pistols, Misfits, those were REAL punk bands. And while I enjoyed listening to Face to Face, Black Flag, and Blink (BEFORE they became Blink 182 and turned into bubblegum pop trash), I knew that it was the last era of punk music. Now, punk is dead, shy of the indie "revival" scene that sputters each summer and then stops sputtering when it gets cold outside. But hey, thanks to global warming and the fact that there will NEVER be a proper winter again, maybe we'll get REAL punk rock back. Punk rock the way god didn't intend it. Oi!

I have never, in the history of my knowing you, read anything from you that was more true than that exact statement quoted above. Forget buying you a beer, I should get you a keg

Not that I'm calling you a liar or anything... I'm just saying, I don't think I've ever agreed with you more
