Well I started building my own First-Person shooter, based on the "FPS Creator" Software.

The Game is called "Line of Fire", it is a multiplayer-only game and will contain various maps in CS style. My skills in modelling are very limited, so most of the objects and weapons in game are freeware models that came up with the creator, but i successfully added a selfmodelled sink, walllmap and some other.

I released a beta version, ready for u to test on LAN/Internet to see how the performance is.

The beta contains just one map so far, dm_bunkercomplex:

You can download the beta here (45MB):
http://files.filefront.com/line_of_fire_betazip/;5314631;;/fileinfo.html

I was unable to test the performance in Lanmode with other players, at least on my Pc (3700+, X1800XL, 1024MB) I had no lags.

Feel free to comment that beta if u are interested in making models for that project, please contact me.

I have downloaded it, and i had a very good time. I like the fact that you show our frag count.

Looks really good. I won't download this though because any FPSC multiplayer game doesn't have players.

Thats not true. Ive had players on my multiplayer test games. You just need to know how to work your fire wall, router etc.

Looks very nice and clean. The menu is also nice, as I've seen very few games with a customized multiplayer menu. They usually end up with the newgame/endgame problem.

I noticed in the second screenshot that you had that cool gun I've been seeing everywhere. Is it in a model pack, custom, or comes with FPSC?

I have to say, this game looks pretty interesting. I haven't seen anythiung quite like this. It reminds me of the cool F.E.A.R. multiplayer. Please take what I just said as a compliment.
