I tried a tutuorial i found onlie but it still came out way off I'll release my model on this thread if someone can map it for me. I'm not usually one to beg but this is somthing that is easy to do but i have no idea what i'm doing.

Go ahead and e-mail it. BTW, do you want it to be high quality (1024X1024) or do you want it to be medium quality (512X512)? When I use 1024X1024, this is the texture results (see attachment).

No, I didn't send it to you, but do you want me to texture it, too? If so, can you post a picture of what the texture is supposed to look like?

BIG EDIT: I just took a look at the model, and it is 920 polies! you have wasted way to many polies on pretty much every part of the model. I have seen this a lot in beginners models. Instead of using 6 stacks and 12 slices for the cylinders, use 1 stack and 8 slices. Also delete any polies that are unseen, such as the bottoms and tops of cylinders that are inside another part of geometry, bottom or top halves spheres or geospheres that are inside other geometry, and tops or bottoms of boxes inside other pieces of geometry. Plus, instead of using different geometry for parts that are supposed to be attached to each other, use the extrude tool (every modeling appilication has this tool). You should really get modeling down before UV mapping and texturing them. If you want, I will try to re-do the model and UV map and texture it for free.

yeah that would really help if you could fix it and texture it for me. I did the model with the trial version of milkshape so i had no idea what i was doing. It was my first model too. Also here is a picture of what it should look like. Thanks this is a big help. I know the picture is in gif but i couldn't change the format.

I modeled and UV mapped it, just have to texture it. It shouldn't take long. The model and the UV map together took 6 minutes, how long did the model take you?

3 hours! Wow, its funny, because in that picture of the gun I posted earlier was less polies than your can! But anyways, no problem, I enjoy little projects like this, and even more when it is helping someone out .

I finished it, screenshot below. The texture is not perfect, but I hope you like it. I will include the unpainted UV map in the e-mail incase you want to make your own textures. What format do you want the model in?
