Does DBPro handle skinned meshes in the DirectX 8.x format? In other words will characters have meshes that deform at the joints?

Or does DBPro bones use the old style of separate, segmented limbs for every body part?

Or both? What version of DirectX files does DBPro support anyway?

But how to export skinned mesh animation from 3D Max to Direct X file? The 3D Max exporter from Direct X doesn't work!
