I was wondering what your thoughts are on the best way to make a grid system. I want to make a grid in my program that can be resized and that is used to aid in the postioning of objects by letting them snap to grid points. Whats the best way to go about this? I thought it might be matricies but Im not really familar with them and the help file wasnt too helpful. Are there any good tutorials on using the matrix commands? Thanks.

Black Mesa,

Are you using DarkBasic Classic or Professional?

You don't have to use a matrix. Sure that'll give you a grid visually, but your ground can be anything. Take a look at this thread, I posted example code of snapping to grid.
