Well i bought an animated water texture pack that will serve me extremly well in my other engine endevors but didn't provide me much for FPSC. So I altered it and tweaked it and changed it 100% so it is legal for use in a commercial project. The original animation looks absolutely gorgeous but it's 250 frames before it loops back to the first frame. This one goes from frame 0 to frame 9 then backwards to frame1. It's not the best, but its the best I could do with this set. Here is the dload. I will include pic in next post.

i could never truly suss out alpha channels for FPSC, theres too much hard edges going on with the decals and my apparently opaque water came out with invisible dots every 2 pixels for a crappy effect.

but nice try, good to see people up to it

thanks jon, yeah thats why i didnt even bother with alpha.
it was wortha try and worth the money for the pack cuz my other engine is being outfitted as we speak to handle the anims and make realistic spectacular water.

@ Jon- was thinking of it.Either that or releasing it with "Fresh Corpses" my zombie pack coming out after CnF

@da power pwnerer -look at how the others are set up, it's really not that hard.

Wow don't that suck....250 frames to 9..Ouch. I know it sounds old but I hope FPSC has some nice updates when ever they do come around. Good job though.

no prob Fred, just wish FPSC was more accomidating for the use of all 250 or at least 64 of them, Im only useing 64 0f them in the engine I'm assisting with and man is it gonna look like a slice of heavan.

Yes I had to alter it quite a bit in order to give it freely. Remember this was a set that I had to purchase so I couldn't give any of it away without altering it by at least 80%. Well I altered it 100%.

press 'b' key twice and that puts you in center segment mode. anything you place will be locked to the center of the segment. It remains in this mode till you press 'b' again allowing you to tile a decal.

How do You make decals transparent? I tryed to set Transp. to both 1 and 2 in the fpe file, but it dosnt work anyway.. Do I have to save the dds file in some kind of special way?
I did a water decal today, and I think I will give it away for free also...
