Ah another Game Master Topic.

Here i'm starting this over again.for now i got something thats actualy reasonable to see

im currently adding a sort of interface(W00T!)thats a huge improvement.but as im no 2D artist,it doesnt look the best.

Anyway.heres a WIP list:

DONE:
Main Menu
Working buttons
Movement over map
Interface
Map details(FPS,Objects on screen,Poly's on screen)

WIP:
Clickable buttons in editor mode.

Planned:
Save Map
Load Map
Export to File

This time this editor will not be a game engine.it will only be an editor for DBP projects.im hoping to let it export into a .DBA file.

Time for some screenshots:
The main menu:

In editor:

Also this time you will be placing objects with the mouse.

i hope this is a great improvement from the first and second one of Game Master.

hehe you should probably scale those piccies down a bit for us not using 2300x5600 resolution.

Its a nice menu but is there any actual functions to allow making maps yet?

There are alot of these tools out there right now, I would hope you have an origonal take on them to validate the usage of this tool.

As far as mouse positioning, check my blog post here, where I listed a method produced by Philip (from these forums) for positioning a 3D object based on your 2D mouse position. You'll need to be versed in functions, locals, and globals (at least, understand them)...but you should be able to figure it out:

3D Coordinates From 2D Mouse Position

Good luck with your project
