I have Blender installed on my laptop. Im goin to be getting a mouse for it but at the moment I just have the touchpad thing. How would I use the function the middle mouse button would do? I dont know if its possible.

I think you press Alt while clicking with the mouse

iirc it tells you about that sort of thing in the readme, trying to use it on my ibook was even worse because I only had 1 mouse button and couldn't use most of the Fkey shortcuts.

Unless you've got to use the trackpad it's a lot easier using a usb mouse.

Yeah at a camp i went to for maya we had one button mice. That was terrible. The next day the instructor brought in 3 button ones and we could actually work.
