Fpsc has an Health and lives hud that is horror looking.
Try searching for it in languagebank.
I dont know anymore exactly where it is in languagebank.

I have a suggestin, search in googe for tutorials for photoshop, paint shop pro, or gimp and work by them, you can get preety good results.

Health image is ready. Next thing I will do is recoulouring the font. What colout do you want?
Name is "veri health," because it's my way to organize; "veri" means "blood" and health is in end, because I need to know, what part of HUD it is.
EDIT: I made it a bit smaller.

How are huds even made? Coz I had a good idea once for a hud and then couldent figure out how to do it and it eventuall has been somewhat put on the back bench .

You can use even Paint to make hud. Only requement is that it can export files to PNG. Serif Photo Plus 6 is free photo editing software. You should try it. http://www.download.com/PhotoPlus/3000-2192_4-10183727.html?tag=lst-0-1

Download PNGs and put HUD images to FPS Creator/Files/languagebank/english/gamecore/huds
Put numeric to FPS Creator/Files/gamecore/huds
Then Open FPS Creator, open "Build game" menu. Click "Level settings" tab. Then edit global script. Scroll to "Status panels" and change Lives image to "veri lives," health image to "veri health" and so on. Nuneric should have +/- 4 offset from images.
EDIT: It's free for commercial and non-commercial games.
