I made myself a simple flash movie. Fading text. I want to place it in my signature, but when I try to upload it to my site it doesn't play! It just sits still when its meant to fade out and in!
Any suggestions?
Thanks!

hmm i think rich removed flash in the signature images a few forums ago.
I dont think you can embed flash into that area due to the forums structure.
I could be wrong.

I used to have flash games in my signature a few years back.

I think the only alternative is to export as an animated gif, however if you dont do it correctly your going to end up with a massive unusable file.

Another alternative is to copy the first frame as a jpeg or png then link to your flash animation from there.

btw where did you buy your copy of flash 8 and how much did you get for a price.
I have to upgrade my MX 2004 soon for my home office.
A good price I have found so far is at harris technology.

Im probably assuming too much there, let me guess your running a 30 day trial or a version your daddies, mothers, uncle, nephews, brothers, lost pet cat with a cockeye and a bent tail, gave to you in a dark winter storm near a large pile of steaming warez.

As far as I know, Flash no longer shows in sigs. Ask Rich I suppose.

How about just making a small animated .gif file? Or do nothing at all, as a fading in and out name seems rather boring anyway?

Thanks Megaton cat but I converted it into GIF. But I can't seem to get it to work! Lol.
What host do I use?

I suggest you try photobucket. It might allow animated gifs, I can't quite remember.
