hi

I have little knowledge of PDA's and I would like to know a bit about them.

Can they access the internet to the point where they can view websites and post to forums such as this one?

can they be used with apps such as msn messenger?

What is a reasonabel price to pay for one?

Do they come with word prossecors and excel and stuff like that?

Thanks for your time

cheers

Yes, as long as you have a wireless connection. I have an iPaq with Bluetooth and Wifi so am pretty sorted.

Yes, but I've never used it on a PDA.

I'd say at least £200 ($400+) for a decent one, if you hunt around. This is the UK though, so take away at least 30% for most other places

Mine does, but I think they are pocket versions, so some functionality isn't supported I believe.

Oh yes, and get this, some are powerful enough to play decent games on. Mine is a 400Mhz effort, and 3D pool is particularly impressive. Plus lots of retro action. I have the full CD version of Day of the Tentacle working on mine. Oh yes...

And emulation is fantastic. I can now play Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (Mega Drive edition) anywhere! Yay!

Yes, but I this forum isn't configured for Pocket devices, so you will have a hard time scrolling to see the entire post!

Mine does, never use it cause I don't have wireless internet (Yet) but it would be useful!

There would be the initial cost of getting a new router - but that would be it...

Come to the last Unofficial DBPro Convention (http://convention.logicstudios.net/)
Supplying "NO" since 1974...
