I've just bought DBPro. My first job was to upgrade it to the latest version, so I downloaded the 62b patch, and ran it.

When I go into DBPro and look at "About", it still says 1.055?? What am I missing?

Also what should I do with the 62b extras download? It's just a zip file with loads of stuff in. Where should it be extracted to?

have you installed it into the saem folder as your dbp?

Extract the extras into the DBP folder

Yesm I installed it into the same directory... Infact in that directory I have "upgrade6_2.txt"...

Maybe the "About" version isn't updated? Can anyone verify this?

I've had the exact same issue. Out of interest did you get the Electronic download version, and if so - which one? I downloaded the 11mb version and have wondered if the patch (for some reason) doesn't work properly with that particular version.

Also for some reason now when I try various pieces of code from the code bank and run them, my comiler complains that I don't have DirectX 9.0c installed - when clearly I do.

The DirectX problem was solved 2 minutes after I posted. I wasn't using the "brand new" version of DirectX 9.0c but rather a version that came with a game.
